We are the Rosehill Social Golf Club, who play most Saturday’s at the very well maintained Maylands Peninsula public course in Maylands, Western Australia.
Our main Winter season runs from March to November. Sign on is around 10:15am and we play as one group, with the first 4 players teeing off not long after. A random draw is done each week, so you will get to play with different members, getting to know them better.
All games are extremely well organised using official Golf Link Handicaps to level the playing field. Trophies and other prizes are on offer each week, as well as novelty prizes like Nearest the Pin, Longest Drive etc.
After, and in fact before the game, the club enjoys a great social environment, as the boys raise a glass or two and get involved in raising funds that all goes back to the members through out the year, plus there is always plenty of banter and laughs to be had along the way. We also hold various social activities during the year, away from the course, at which our wife’s and partners join us.
We also have an Annual Weekend Away, normally down south, playing at some great courses.
In the Summer, some of the guys get together for a hit with an earlier tee off time. This is much more casual and runs from December to February inclusive.
Annual Membership fees are very minimal, especially when compared to a private club, and you only pay green fees when you actually play.
Vacancies are available, but if you prefer, you can come down to try things out without having to join straight away to see if the club is right for you.
