Flag Competition – 28/02/26
12 players turned up to compete in the last event of the Summer Comp with the flag Competition.
The way the Flag competition works is you add your Handicap to the set score to get the number of
strokes before you run out of strokes to advance the flag. With the set score set at 65 then for example,
if your handicap is 15 then you have 80 strokes before you run out of strokes. The idea is to advance the
flag as far as you can ideally near the 18th hole.
I would like to thank Wayno for Captaining the Summer Comp this year.
After the game a feast of prawn rolls, chicken wings, bread and dip and chips plus a drink of choice
was provided by Wayno.

Winter Season membership request
The 2026 Winter Season starts on March 7th, 2026, with 4 Man Ambrose “Rosehill Cup”
If you intend continue to be a member of RSGC for 2026 please let us know as soon as you
can or if you know someone who would like to be a member, please let me know as soon
as you can. The reason for this is twofold.
1. I need to finalise negotiations with the Maylands Pro shop on the number of timeslots
we will be requiring each week. Currently we have 5 confirmed but I am trying to get 6 or 7.
2. After talking with Razor, we need to get funds into the club to pay our Golf Australia affiliation
fees which are due by 1st of March. We took a big hit in December as we had to pay a hefty
deposit for Accommodation in Bunbury for the weekend away.
If you intend to renew your membership, we request that you do so as soon as you can before the
season and pay the 2026 season fee of $150.00. You can do this by paying Razor directly or
pay your season fees into the RSGC bank account.
If paying into the RSGC account, please show the following
” Your Name 2026 RSGC fees”
The first day of the season you can complete your registration form or I will bring some to summer comp
from next week.
