2026 Management Committee & Role Descriptions<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Here are the current Rosehill Social Golf Club Committee and a brief description of their main duties. You will notice everyone is smiling, which says a lot about our club.<\/p>\n

Please feel free to speak to any of them on matter’s that involve the running and your enjoyment of the club. We have also listed at the bottom of this page the 2025 Match Committee.<\/p>\n

President – Neil Buscumb<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Responsible for the overall running of the club.<\/em><\/p>\n

Vice-President \u2013 Peter Scott<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Responsibilities include supporting the President. Looking after recruitment and the introduction of new players into the club.<\/em><\/p>\n

Captain – Steve Gray<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Responsibilities include organising a match committee to develop the seasons Playing fixtures. To run the day\u2019s event and announce the day\u2019s winners and distribute prizes. Chairman of the match committee.<\/em><\/p>\n

Vice-Captain \u2013 BJ Morley<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Responsibilities include assisting the captain in his role. Part of the match committee.<\/em><\/p>\n

Treasurer – Ray Close<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Responsibilities include – Maintaining the financial records of the club. Reporting on the financial performance and financial position on a monthly basis. Prepare an annual summary of the clubs position at the AGM.<\/em><\/p>\n

Assistant Treasurer – Alby Hawkins<\/strong><\/h4>\n

 <\/p>\n

Responsibilities include assisting the treasurer in his role.<\/em><\/p>\n

Secretary – John Pusell<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"\"Responsibilities include organising committee meetings, setting agendas and the taking and distribution of the minutes of the meetings. To deal with<\/em> correspondence and to be involved in club projects.<\/em><\/p>\n

Assistant Secretary – Wayne Finnerty<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Responsibilities include assisting the secretary in his role.<\/em><\/p>\n

Handicapper – Steve Hopkins<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Responsibilities include maintaining the player\u2019s handicaps weekly and giving handicaps to new players along with assisting the captain in his role. Part of the match committee.<\/em><\/p>\n

Social Secretary – Grant Morrogh<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Responsibilities include forming a Social Committee and working within that group and the main Committee to plan and organise social events for the club.<\/em><\/p>\n

2026 Match Committee<\/strong><\/h3>\n

As club captain, Steve has a dedicated group of guys to help run the golfing side of things. We think it is important that you know who your match committee are so that if you have a specific golfing type question, then these are the people who can best help you in the first instance. Please feel free to approach them for any advice, They are:<\/p>\n
